Lisa and I are traveling this weekend. We are in Portland, OR. It is very nice and green out here. Yesterday we took a day trip to the Oregon Pacific Coast to a small town called Seaside. There we saw a hot rod show and a kite demonstration. There must have been 500 cars or so at the show. Lisa estimated that there were some 10 or so dogs there as well. Here is a photo of Lisa and one of the pooches.

The hot rod show is an annual event called Wheels and Waves. Here are some photos of the hot rods.

We also saw some kites out on the beach.

We drove along the coast on Highway 101.

Our last stop was at a cheese factory in Tillamook.

We saw plenty of bicyclists on the highway.

We were glad to go back to our hotel after a long day of sightseeing. Not only that but we anxious to leave the Tsunami Hazard Zone.
